Shaping the Future of Green Chemistry by Process Intensification and Digitalization

Comprehensive defossilization of chemical production processes, and the establishment of sustainable and resilient material and energy cycles, are key elements in successfully reversing the trend toward advancing climate change and its negative global impacts.

Green, sustainable chemistry contributes to this trend reversal by significantly reducing the consumption of non-renewable resources and energy, and by minimizing the use and production of harmful substances, without compromising the economic efficiency of chemical processes or the quality of their products.
